An extraordinary Pinot Noir from the Adelaide Hills, open fermented basket press. An aroma of ripening cherries, raspberries, boysenberries redcurrants and even a hint of mint. The palate is intense of ripened fruit, plums, black cherries balanced by a tangy acidity. The French oak provides an almost chalk like structure. A damn fine Pinot.

95 points James Halliday, a medium to full bodied red for prolonged cellaring. Vivid red with a brilliant purple edge. Fresh red currants and blueberries leap from the glass and are interwoven with violets and a phenol spice.

Wirra Wirra, 2014, The Angelus Cabernet Sauvignon, McLaren Vale
Deep claret with bright red rim. A complex and deep bouquet of forest berries, leafy undergrowth and tilled earth, roast meats, spices, cedar, sandalwood and leather. It is beautifully rich, dense, fleshy and varietal. Deliciously mouth-watering acidity, luscious black cherry and cassis, superb.
Pikes, 2010, “The Hill Block” Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Clare Valley
Deep red crimson hue, gorgeous fragrant nose, cedar oak and graphite/ slate characteristics. The fragrance and elegance in no small part due to the Cabernet Franc component of this wine. Delicious now. Or hidden away for 10-15 years, simply divine.

Blackcurrant and cassis fruit are framed skilfully in lively acidity, and the dark chocolate and coffee of the classy French and American oak. Fruit and oak and tannins unite seamlessly to propel the finish with confidence and great persistence. An impressive wine of lovely cabernet flavours.

Deep red/purple colour, linseed oak. Warm spices mixed with ripe red fruits, sour cherry and liqueur aromas, followed by compact dark cherry and chalky tannins on the palate. It is a fuller bodied style with a great lengthy finish.

A bouquet of almost every tropical fruit you can imagine is in this 1 bottle, from custard apple at one end of the spectrum to kiwi fruit and pineapple at the other end. The finish is zingy, textured and salivating. Simply superb.

This wine is lively with expressions of lime and orange blossom, underwritten by bath salts and talc purity. The palate has hallmark Clare minerality carried by a zesty lime finish.
